The North Pole Co is a classic holiday collection filled with colorful imagery that's perfect for wood blocks, ornaments, coasters, and dimensional decor. Featuring charming gingerbread houses, village scenes, Santa, vintage-inspired holiday signage, and delightful Holly Jolly and Peppermint Lane motifs, it's ideal for creating hot cocoa bar decor, and holiday vignettes. Wouldn’t the big Santa look darkling on Christmas Cookie trays?

With its assortment of smaller designs, The North Pole Co is especially approachable for those new to paint inlays, making it easy to create beautiful projects on simple distressed wood blocks to nestle into your holiday decor. The 8" x 12" sheets also fit beautifully inside the shadow box side of our 11" x 14" Wood Blanks, creating a naturally framed design that's perfect for workshops, girls' nights, and handmade holiday ornaments and gifts.

IOD Paint Inlays are the artisanal answer to decor transfers. You can use the IOD Paint Inlay on glass, fabric, and of course wood. They’re not a decal; they’re not a synthetic film; they’re not decoupage. It’s oh so much better! When you apply an IOD Paint Inlay, paint is physically embedded into the surface of your project. After drying, the carrier paper is removed, leaving an authentic painted design and a buttery, almost leather-like surface on your piece.

And, as if once isn't enough, you can usually get a beautifully faded second impression, with the residual pigment on your 'leftover' Paint Inlay sheets. Depending on the techniques and colors you are using with your Paint Inlay, sometimes you can even get a third impression!

Important Note: For best results with a basic application, use a chalk-type paint, like our Debi's DIY Chalk Paint that does not contain polymers and is VOC free.

There is a bit of a learning curve with the inlay but the results are oh so worth it. We think you're going to love them!
