It's floated top construction and finger joints on each slab for additional strength and stability. Then it is protected with a multi-step lacquer finish on hand-brushed wood providing you great protection while allowing for the wood grain to show its natural character.

The island has three generously sized drawers that feature English dovetail joinery on fronts and glide effortlessly on ball-bearing metal glides. The iron tab drawer pulls are individually hand forged and shaped for easy grip. The metal legs add to the mixed-media appeal of the island as well. The metal towel bar means a towel is always in easy reach and the two fixed shelves provide additional storage space as well. To top it off there are hidden casters on metal legs so you can move your counter space and storage to wherever you need it.
