They are bright and vivid if you want them to be, or mix them together to create your special blend and/or tone them down with water to make the perfect shade for your project. These paints are easy to distress, to clean up, and because they are clay and chalk based safe to use around chldren, pets and those with allergies.
We have typically have three sizes available - the 4oz pot, pint and quart. If a size shows out of stock please contact us to order. Expect 3-4 weeks for delivery after your order is placed. Gallons are available by special order in most colours. Please contact us at email@example.com or 403-265-6656.
How To Use: APC Paint requires little to no preparation when painting your furniture and home decor. There is no sanding, stripping or priming necessary. American Paint Company paints are self priming, and one to two coats generally gives complete coverage. We recommend cleaning your piece prior to beginning with soapy water or cleaner to remove grease and dirt.
Application Range and Coverage: Approximate coverage depends on absorbency and texture of surface. After 2-4 hours of drying time, apply a second coat to achieve optimum coverage. You may also mix with water (without effecting the colour pigments) for more coverage. Quart coverage is approximately 75 square feet and 4 oz pot coverage is approximately 15-20 square feet.
It is important to seal your project after paint dries to ensure paint adheres to your piece properly. We recommend cleaning your project with our all natural and 100% organic Surface Cleaner. We also recommend sealing your piece with our all natural Vintage Antiquing Wax or durable liquid Top Coat sealer. The APC Brushes are also great tools!
Kootenay Merlot is a discontinued colour and cannot be reoredered if sold out.
